I’m blogging this because I found that the instructions to change the time on my oven are confusing.

This is because the paper copy I got with the oven is correct, but the PDF that I found and saved when it was installed has slightly different instructions, which are misleading. It says to “touch the clock button until the symbol for time is underlined”, which to me means hold it down.

So twice a year, when Daylight Savings starts and ends, I find my PDF and try to follow the steps and it doesn’t work.

• switch the oven off
• tap the clock button a couple of times until the clock icon is underlined
• then use the + and – buttons to change the time
• once you leave it a few seconds, the time is saved.
