For those of you who pull up task manager with a View to a Kill, check out the list of processes at http://www.processid.com/processes.html - drowned in ads for inappropriate stuff, but the information is worthwhile.

    Cool, used it to make sure I could clean soundman, a couple of NV*, QT and RealPlayer out of the startup on the slower of my machines, using msconfig. (Thought the latter two had already been taken out, but they do have a way of sneaking back in, don’t they.)
