Google desktop search

So I finally got around to downloading and installing Google desktop search (I admit it, it was when I needed to find something in Outlook) and I discover it’s incompatible with Vet anti-virus. Oh. There goes that then. So I’ll check out LookOut or Copernic, I guess.

Oh. I found what I wanted. Another time then!

Lookout is now MSN Search and Copernic rules the roost - except for not indexing the content of pages you visit. And yes, I will get around to doing my Copernic review one of these days.

They may have temporarily named it MSN Search, but all the web sites I can see (including those hosted on the MS servers) now say “LookOut”. MSN Search appears in the MSN Sandbox as a web search.

Forget LookOut…i’m thinking M$ has blended its technology in the new MSN Toolbar Suite.
Definitely give this a try–searching is quite fast to say the least!
